News:

-IMPORTANT-

:new: :bulletpurple: We've been having several problems updating the club. Some of you may know :iconsimplecomics: has been going through some personal hardship and I (:icongiga-man:) had some problems with my internet. For now, S.C. is trying to sort some things out and I'm back on track. I'm very sorry if you all were looking forward to the March Cartoonist of the Month, but that had to be canceled. I'm sorry, guys.

I'm taking over the club again, so expect me to place things back on track. S.C. will be back soon, I assure you.

In the meantime, I'll see what I can do about the April Cartoonist of the Month edition. It will come. :)

Sorry if you guys expect some more things....

:bulletgreen: If you're a member and have work that you'd like to have featured please inform us. We don't mean to overlook anyone, but we get 100s of deviations to go through every time one of us signs in so please feel free to say "Hey, you jerks! You didn't feature any of MY stuff!"

    I understand what you are saying, but what my argument is is... I don't think a newspaper will take a 14 year old kid seriously (I don't have the age to make such decisions.)

    About your typing thing: Heey! I followed your example and started to REALLY check for spelling errors. If people respond harshly to critique... they're kinda dumb...

    As I said before, I can't do it. I'm too young to make those types of moves...

    The credit we would be given would depend on the quality we expose. This is why I always insist on using correct spelling and everything in our works, because that is the sort of thing they will be merciless about. I stopped reporting typos and misspellings because everyone reacts in a hostile manner to me when I do that, but I think, as a group, you should make it a golden rule and refuse to post anything that hasn't perfect spelling and etc. It may sound harsh, but for the benefit of everyone in the group, it might be a good thing to do. If you contact a cartoonist agency, and they check the group, and they see that over a half of our text is poorly spelled, or not funny, or anything, they won't give us another chance.

    As to contacting, I don't know either, but I assume agents and newspapaer can easily be found out after some research. That is, if you're up to it! Which I am not...

    Don't take this too personally, but your style is almost to the point of copy+paste. I'm sorry, but that is how your art looks. You've got to find some originality if you want to progress.

    You're going to have to get used to the itchy un unsettling feeling...

    I've seen your stuff. It's good. But your only problem is your art.

    I think it's TOO much Kris Wilson. You can come up with your own style! It's not that hard, even if it's not very good, it's still original. If you keep all your fantastic jokes, you would become a very good deviant!

    Sounds like a wonderful Idea.

    But here's the thing: I don't know how to contact such important media, and I don't know if they would take anyone seriously. I think comic strips on the newspaper (public) have to have some sort of criteria...
